Hyderabad, Sept.10 : Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has given approval for long-pending development projects worth ₹35.19 crore at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu. The decision came after Choppadandi MLA and Karimnagar DCC President Dr. Medipally Satyam met the Chief Minister to request the immediate clearance of stalled construction work at the renowned shrine.
The projects, funded by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) following an initiative by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, had been temporarily halted due to technical reasons. The development plan includes a modern Deeksha Viramana Mandapam capable of accommodating 2,000 Hanuman devotees simultaneously during ritual completion ceremonies, as well as a 96-room guest house to provide lodging for visiting pilgrims.
Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on behalf of the devotees, MLA Medipally Satyam stated that the completion of these facilities will significantly ease accommodation and religious obligations for the millions of Hanuman devotees visiting the temple annually. He added that tender processes will be finalized swiftly to initiate construction at the site.
