Warangal, Sept.27 : Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy, along with Warangal District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada and Enumamula Agricultural Market Committee Chairperson Puli Priyanka, inspected potential sites for establishing a modern food and fruit market at Viswanathapuram village in Geesugonda mandal on Sunday.
During the visit, officials evaluated the physical area, road connectivity, transport accessibility, and basic infrastructure required to establish the proposed market facility under the Enumamula Agricultural Market Committee. The MLA emphasized that setting up a dedicated market will provide local farmers with better marketing facilities for their produce, generate employment opportunities, and boost regional commercial activities.
MLA Prakash Reddy directed officials to draft comprehensive plans keeping future expansion and market demands in mind. The primary objective is to build robust infrastructure suited for fruit sales and agricultural trade while ensuring seamless transport access for both farmers and traders.
The inspection team included Additional Collector (Revenue) L. Kishore Kumar, Warangal RDO Suma, District Land Survey and Records Officer Srinivasulu, District Marketing Officer Nagaraju, Marketing Director Rudra Prasad, along with other market committee officials and local representatives.
