Mulugu, Sept.29 : Following the massive commercial success of their latest action entertainer ‘The Paradise’, Natural Star Nani, director Srikanth Odela, and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri visited the famous Medaram shrine in Mulugu district to offer prayers to tribal deities Sammakka and Sarakka. The film crew also stopped at the Gattamma temple to seek blessings before proceeding to Medaram to fulfill their vows following the movie’s strong theatrical run.
During their visit, actor Nani offered traditional “Niluvethu Bangaram” (jaggery equivalent to his body weight weighing 74 kg) along with turmeric and vermillion to the deities. Temple priests greeted the team with traditional honors, presented them with sanctified clothes, and administered special rituals. Large crowds of fans and local residents gathered near the temple premises to catch a glimpse of the actor, who warmly greeted the assembled public.
Despite initial mixed word-of-mouth and critical reviews upon release, ‘The Paradise’ recorded massive opening figures, collecting ₹155 crore gross worldwide in its first four days. Marking the second blockbuster collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after ‘Dasara’, the film continues to draw heavy footfalls across theatres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
