Karimnagar, Sept.30 : Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a sharp attack on the Congress party on Wednesday, asserting that the global community cannot imagine India without the influence of the Sangh Parivar, while the nation eagerly awaits a “Congress-mukt Bharat.” Speaking to media persons at the Karimnagar Collectorate alongside Mayor Kolagani Srinivas, Deputy Mayor Sunil Rao, and Corporator Boinipalli Praveen Rao, the Minister slammed the Congress Working Committee’s (CWC) directive to Congress-ruled states to revise academic syllabi to remove Sangh Parivar influences.
Minister Bandi Sanjay questioned whether the Congress aimed to rewrite history by reinstating Article 370, glorifying the Nizam, downplaying Razakar atrocities, or denying historical developments like surgical strikes and the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Criticizing Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for allegedly trying to create divisions among Hindu deities, the Union Minister warned that any attempts to split society along religious lines would face strong resistance from the public.
Highlighting major infrastructure milestones in Karimnagar, the Minister noted that foundation stones were laid for developmental works worth ₹840 crore under the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF), covering Riverfront development, flood mitigation, urban transport, and drainage systems. He also detailed the inauguration of a ₹5.70 crore Central Library under the Smart City Mission, a ₹16.50 crore Integrated Command Control Centre and DRF Building, a ₹6.50 crore Integrated Market at Kashmirgadda, and a ₹25 crore Multi-Level Car Parking facility near Tower Circle. He further announced that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Telangana on October 4 to participate in programs in Karimnagar and Medak districts.
