Mahabubabad, Oct.6 : Alert police personnel from the Dantalapalli police station in Mahabubabad district successfully traced two missing young boys and arranged for their safe return to their family. The children had gone missing from the Nawabpet police station limits in Nellore district late last month.
According to police sources, two young brothers, Yellampalli Venkatesh (12) and Yellampalli Venkateswarlu (10), went missing on September 26 while returning home from a fishing trip in Nellore. Upon questioning them, the officers identified them as the missing children from Nellore and immediately brought them to the Dantalapalli police station.
The Dantalapalli police immediately alerted their counterparts in Nawabpet. A team from Nellore arrived on Tuesday morning to take custody of the boys and safely reunite them with their relieved parents. The Dantalapalli Sub-Inspector commended the constables for their vigilant and prompt response in safeguarding the children.
