Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Oct.11 : The annual Devi Sharad Navaratri celebrations commenced on a grand note on Sunday at the Sri Adi Mukteshwara Swami Balaalayam, an annexe of the famous Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swami Temple in Kaleshwaram. The festive celebrations, scheduled to take place from October 11 to 20, feature special ritualistic offerings and daily prayers at the shrine.
As part of the religious festivities, a traditional Chandi Homam will be performed every morning at 10:30 AM until October 19. Under the supervision of Deputy Chief Priest Panindra Sharma and temple priests, special pujas are being offered to the deity daily. These specialized worship ceremonies are being conducted for the deity’s idol at the Balaalayam in connection with the ongoing temple reconstruction works.
Temple Executive Officer (EO) Mahesh, Chairman Avadhani Mohan Sharma, and temple authorities appealed to devotees and local villagers to participate in the Navaratri festivities and seek divine blessings. They urged the public to cooperate with the management to ensure the smooth conduct of the multi-day event.
