Karimnagar, Oct.13 : The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) has demanded the immediate reclaiming of 15.09 acres of assigned government land, valued at approximately ₹100 crore, currently in the possession of Jyothishmathi Educational Institutions in Nustulapur village, Thimmapur mandal. A delegation of AIFB leaders held detailed discussions with Karimnagar Additional Collector (Revenue) Dr. D. Srinivas Reddy following directions from the District Collector regarding the petition filed against survey number 574.
During the meeting, AIFB Karimnagar District General Secretary Bhandari Shekhar, 27th Division Corporator Shyamala, Tangella Kiran Kumar, and district committee member Badri Netha submitted documentary evidence and revenue files to officials. They highlighted that the Thimmapur Tehsildar had already issued proceedings (No. B/293/1/2007) on July 21, 2007, declaring the land seized by the state government. The leaders urged the administration to review all relevant records from the mandal office to the High Court and initiate swift legal action to take back the land.
The AIFB leaders strongly objected to allegations that certain revenue officials colluded with Jyothishmathi Educational Institutions Chairman Sagar Rao to send misleading reports to the CCLA and NHRC claiming an active High Court stay. They challenged officials to publicly release any existing stay orders and demanded an impartial high-level inquiry into the matter. Furthermore, the party urged authorities to cancel the land regularization process associated with the Shalini Educational Society and utilize the existing illegal structures on the site for government hostels and public welfare needs.
The delegation emphasized that protecting public property and assigned Dalit lands from illegal encroachments remains a fundamental duty of the state government. Thimmapur Tehsildar Karre Srinivas Reddy and Collectorate Superintendent Kali Charan were also present during the review meeting.
