The Labour Minister Dr. Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy and Peddapalli MP G.Vamsi Krishna met Union Enviroment Minister Bhupendar Yadav in New Delhi.
Peddapalli, July 28 : Minister for Labour and Employment Dr. G. Vivek Venkataswamy and Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna met Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupendar Yadav in New Delhi and requested him for swift grant of pending environmental clearances for crucial mining projects in Telangana.
During the delegation’s meeting, the leaders submitted a representation urging the Central Government to expedite environmental approval for the Tadicherla Block-2 project, which has been allocated to the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna highlighted that commencing operations at Tadicherla Block-2 would create over 1,000 direct and indirect job opportunities for local youth, while giving a major boost to regional economic development.
In addition, Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkataswamy requested the Union Minister to clear pending environmental permissions for RKP Mines at the earliest to support continuous industrial activity and local employment generation.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav responded favourably to their demands and assured the delegation that he would hold a review with senior officials to initiate necessary steps for resolving the clearances quickly.
