Rajanna Sircilla, Sept-17 : Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas expressed heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on behalf of Rajanna Sircilla residents for resolving long-pending poor people’s land issues in the district. Speaking at the Praja Palana Dinotsavam celebrations held at the district Congress office on Thursday, the legislator stated that the state government is committed to delivering social justice and protecting citizens’ property rights.
The MLA pointed out that poor landholders suffered severe hardships under the previous administration due to the Dharani portal and Section 22A prohibited land listings. Addressing these grievances, the state government has removed over 2,000 acres of land belonging to the poor from the Section 22A prohibited list in Rajanna Sircilla district. Furthermore, strict action is being taken regarding nearly 8,000 acres of encroached lands in Sircilla and surrounding areas.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has assured that lands recovered from powerful encroachers will be redistributed to eligible poor families. To systematically resolve land disputes statewide, the government has issued comprehensive 12-point guidelines and constituted a high-level three-member committee to review and settle pending cases.
In addition to land resolution, measures are underway to regularize houses built by poor families on government plots in Sircilla, Hyderabad, and other urban areas in accordance with official norms. Reaffirming the administration’s pledge, Adi Srinivas emphasized that public welfare remains the primary goal of the current government.
