Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Sept.20 : In a stern move to enforce punctuality and administrative discipline, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri In-Charge Collector Bhaskar Rao took strict action against government employees arriving late for work. The Collector ordered the main gates of the Collectorate complex to be locked promptly at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026, preventing latecomers from entering the premises and creating a stir among administrative circles.
The sudden decision came despite the recent introduction of a location-based attendance tracking mobile application designed to monitor staff attendance. Disappointed by the persistent lack of punctuality among several employees who failed to report on time, the Collector ordered the main entrance locked to send a firm message regarding accountability to the public.
Employees who arrived after 10:30 AM were shocked to find the main gates locked and were forced to wait outside the complex. While anxiety grew among government staff regarding potential departmental disciplinary action, local citizens and visitors welcomed the administration’s firm stance, stating that strict enforcement ensures better public services and office efficiency.
