Hanumakonda, Sept.23 : Setting aside political rivalries and partisan biases, Guntipalli Renuka Venkat, Sarpanch of Mupparam village in Dharmasagar mandal of Hanumakonda district, has established an exemplary citizen-centric administration model aimed at delivering welfare schemes directly to every eligible household. Operating under a unified family principle, the Sarpanch has initiated a door-to-door approach to identify beneficiaries and streamline essential government services without any middleman interference.
In a notable demonstration of transparent governance, 110 Indiramma housing units sanctioned for Mupparam were allocated strictly on a merit-and-need basis, completely free from political pressure or personal bias. Beyond housing allocation, the Sarpanch actively tracks construction progress to facilitate the timely release of building installment funds to beneficiaries.
To extend social security coverage, local officials are systematically visiting homes to assist senior citizens with pension applications. While 430 individuals currently receive pensions in the village, 93 new applications have been processed alongside pending ration card requests.
To decentralize administrative responsibilities, Sarpanch Renuka introduced an innovative ‘Village Cabinet’ system, assigning specific ward-level monitoring duties to elected ward members for resolving civic issues like street lighting, drainage clearance, and road repairs.
Emphasizing her commitment to inclusive development, Sarpanch Renuka stated, that delivering government schemes to eligible citizens is our core duty. There is no room for political discrimination in public service, as every family in Mupparam is our own family.
Expressing satisfaction with the transparent process, a local villager remarked, “We no longer have to run around government offices or deal with middlemen, the Sarpanch and Panchayat team come directly to our doorstep to resolve our issues.”
Expressing gratitude to Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari for supporting developmental works, Sarpanch Renuka reiterated her resolve to transform Mupparam into an exemplary model village for the entire state.
