Khammam, Sept.26 : Tensions erupted at the Gudimalla High School in Yedulapuram Municipality on Saturday after parents staged a protest against a Physical Director accused of inappropriate behavior toward female students. The incident came to light after affected senior schoolgirls lodged a formal written complaint with the school principal detailing the teacher’s misconduct.
The accused teacher, identified as MD Shafi Ahmed, has been working as a Physical Director at the high school. According to the students, he had been acting inappropriately toward senior female students over the past few days. Unable to tolerate the behavior, the students submitted a written complaint to Principal Nandu Lal three days ago, seeking action.
However, suspicions grew among parents when the accused teacher went on leave for two consecutive days immediately after the complaint was filed. Learning about the matter, anxious parents gathered at the school premises on Saturday to express their strong outrage. They met with Principal Nandu Lal, demanding a thorough, unbiased investigation and strict disciplinary action against the Physical Director without any interference. The parents emphasized that student safety must be prioritized and strict action should be taken to ensure accountability.
