Mulugu, Sept.27 : The traditional priests (Vaddes) of Sammakka and Sarakka have officially announced the schedule for the Mini Medaram Jatara for the year 2027. The biennial congregation dedicated to the revered tribal deities will take place in February 2027 at Medaram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
According to the schedule released by the priests, the Mini Medaram Jatara will be held over four days, from February 17 to February 20, 2027. Millions of devotees from across Telangana and neighbouring states are expected to converge at the sacred grove during these four days to offer prayers and pay homage to Sammakka and Sarakka.
The early announcement of the festival dates enables devotees to plan their travel and pilgrimage well in advance. District authorities and temple management are expected to announce further details regarding public facilities, transportation, and security arrangements in the coming months.
