Bhadradri Kothagudem, July 22 : District Superintendent of Police (SP) B. Rohit Raju, inaugurated a newly constructed Mandal Parishad Primary School (MPPS) building in Bakkachinthalapadu, a remote tribal village in Cherla mandal on Wednesday. Built under the direct supervision and initiative of the Cherla Police, the school aims to extend quality educational infrastructure to interior agency areas.
During the event, SP Rohit Raju distributed school bags and slates to the students before interacting with teachers, parents, and local residents. Highlighting the transformative power of education, the district police chief stated that schooling serves as the strongest foundation for every child’s future. He urged teachers to take special care in nurturing students in interior tribal belts so they can achieve higher goals, while emphasizing school cleanliness, moral values, attendance, and encouraging participation in sports, yoga, and cultural activities to build leadership skills.
Following the inaugural ceremony, the SP Rohit Raju participated in the ‘Vana Mahotsavam’ plantation drive by planting saplings on the school campus alongside officials. The event was attended by Bhadrachalam DSP Arun Kumar, SB-2 Inspector Srinivas, Cherla CI Raju Verma, Sub-Inspectors Narsi Reddy and Keshava, Mandal Education Officer Ramana, Contractor Santhosh, Village Sarpanch Lakshmi, school staff, and local police personnel.
