Karimnagar, 28 : The students Alphores-e-Techno School in Bhagat Nagar hosted the grand celebrations highlighting the Jagannath Rath Yatra, Pandharpur Yatra and Telangana’s traditional Bonalu festival here in Karimnagar on Tuesday. Attending as the chief guest, Chairman of Alphores Educational Institutions, Dr. V. Narender Reddy, highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Narender Reddy explained that the Jagannath Rath Yatra, originating from Puri in Odisha, is one of India’s most ancient and revered Hindu festivals. He noted that participating in the chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra brings divine blessings and reflects values of equality, devotion, unity, and service. A grand procession featuring devotional chants and student performances marched from the school premises to the Bhagat Singh statue in Bhagat Nagar.
The students also presented cultural performances depicting the 800-year-old Pandharpur Yatra pilgrimage and celebrated the significance of Telangana’s Bonalu festival. Clad in traditional attire, students showcased devotional dances, bhajans, and a depiction of Lashkar Bonalu, reflecting local art forms and spiritual consciousness.
Dr. Narender Reddy urged students to foster spirituality, social harmony, and human values to build a peaceful atmosphere while striving for excellence in all spheres of life. The event concluded with active participation from the school principal, teachers and students.
