To support students, the government has increased diet charges by 40% and cosmetic charges for residential school girls by 200%..
Rounding off the official tour, Minister Srinivas Reddy laid the foundation stone for a new Tahsildar (Revenue) office building in Elkaturthi, estimated at Rs.3.25 crore. To bring governance closer to citizens and resolve long-pending infrastructure gaps, the state has allocated Rs.600 crore to construct 180 Tahsildar and RDO offices statewide. The Minister also promised additional funds for the ongoing integrated RDO office building construction in Elkaturthi, while announcing a comprehensive state-wide digital land survey using modern coordinates to grant permanent land security to farmers under the upcoming Bhoo Bharathi initiative.
