Warangal, Sept.29 : BJP state leader and Warangal Urban Co-operative Bank Chairman Errabelli Pradeep Rao led a rally on Tuesday demanding the immediate inauguration of the newly built Warangal District Collectorate building. Party workers marched from the City Camp Office to the new collectorate site and broke ash gourds as a symbolic protest against government delays in opening the facility.
Addressing the gathering, Pradeep Rao criticized the state government and the local MLA for failing to open the completed administrative complex. He noted that residents of Warangal East constituency are forced to travel to Hanamkonda for routine government work because district-level departments remain scattered across distant locations without a single unified office hub.
Pradeep Rao accused elected representatives of prioritizing political posts and internal family ambitions over solving pressing public issues. He urged the local MLA to remain accessible to local voters for at least 20 days a month, warning that opposition workers will besiege local political offices if public concerns continue to be ignored.
The BJP leader further pointed out that omitting the historic Kakatiya Thoranam arch in front of the new collectorate building hurts local cultural sentiments. Several prominent BJP leaders attended the protest rally, including District President Ganta Ravikumar, former president Edla Ashok Reddy, state executive members Siddam Naresh and Jalagam Ranjith, alongside senior office bearers and party workers.
