Warangal, Sept.28 : BJP Warangal District President Ganta Ravikumar felicitated local Anganwadi teachers and ASHA workers during an ‘Angan Milan’ event held at Shiva Nagar in Warangal. The felicitation program was organized under the leadership of Mahila Morcha leader Martha Usharani as part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan’.
Speaking at the event, Ravikumar praised Anganwadi workers for their dedicated service toward protecting children’s health and providing foundational education. He conveyed special greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the grassroots health staff and honored them with traditional shawls for their tireless contribution to local communities.
Ravikumar highlighted that Anganwadi centers operate as a major central government-sponsored scheme aimed at strengthening rural public health infrastructure and early education. He educated local residents about central government welfare initiatives, emphasizing the critical importance of providing adequate nutrition to pregnant women, new mothers, and growing children across the region.
Several party leaders attended the community outreach event, including Mahila Morcha District In-charge Sirikonda Kavitha, District President Tekumatla Renuka, and Mandal President Mohammad Rafi. Party representatives assured continued support to strengthen basic infrastructure, financial support, and essential supplies for Anganwadi centers in Warangal.
