Hyderabad, Aug.24 : Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is set to organize the ‘Khelo India Samvaad – Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath’ on August 27, 2026. Held in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the event comes ahead of National Sports Day on August 29. The event will take place simultaneously at designated educational institutions across India. In Telangana, the program will be conducted at 46 locations, including the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU). The event will feature a virtual address by the Prime Minister, an interactive session with prominent athletes, a public representative’s address, and a ‘Yuva Samvaad’ segment allowing young citizens to share their views on sports and related development themes.
Prominent athletes confirming their participation in Telangana include Asian Games bronze medalist Nandini Agasara, shooters Dhanush Srikanth and Esha Singh, and table tennis player Sreeja Akula. Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy will also attend the program at a venue in Hyderabad. Attendees can scan QR codes placed at all 46 venues to submit their ideas directly to the MY Bharat portal to help inform future policy decisions.
