Warangal, July 18 : Telangana State Electoral Roll Observer Hari Chandana Dasari has directed officials to complete the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls transparently, impartially and strictly within the deadline set by the Election Commission of India.
Presiding over a five-district review meeting at the Hanumakonda Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC) on Saturday, the observer evaluated the ongoing voter list revision progress across Hanumakonda, Warangal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Mahabubabad districts. She reviewed critical ground-level activities, including door-to-door surveys, form distribution, digitisation, and the status of pending voter applications.
The Observer instructed officials to scale up public awareness campaigns to ensure zero voter exclusion, focusing especially on high-rise apartments, gated communities, and tribal regions. She urged citizens who have permanently migrated or need corrections to voluntarily update their details. Furthermore, she asked district heads to monitor the performance of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and address complaints within 48 hours in coordination with political parties and local resident associations.
During the briefing, Hanumakonda District Collector Chahat Bajpai stated that the district features two assembly constituencies with 5.09 lakh voters and 483 polling stations. She announced that 100% of enumeration forms have been distributed, and 68.13% of data digitisation is complete. The administration has deployed voter helpdesks, awareness vehicles, and an active call center to resolve public grievances swiftly.
Warangal District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada presented a digital overview of the progress in Warangal East, Narsampet, and Wardhannapet constituencies, noting that 71% of form digitisation has already been achieved. Both collectors assured the observer that their administrative teams are working in complete coordination to deliver a flawless, error-free final voter list within the designated timeline.
