Warangal, Sept.29 : Former Minister and Warangal East MLA Konda Surekha instructed local Congress leaders and cadre on Tuesday to proactively address public grievances without giving opposition parties any opportunity to highlight government shortcomings. Speaking at a event organized to distribute Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) financial aid checks worth ₹61,61,200 to 111 beneficiaries, she reaffirmed that the CMRF scheme continues to serve as a crucial lifeline for poor families facing medical emergencies.
Criticizing opposition parties for organizing protests solely for political gains, the MLA issued a stern warning against those spreading false propaganda against the Konda family. She stated that women supporters of the family would retaliate strongly if political rivals continue to make baseless allegations.
Addressing key infrastructure projects in the constituency, Surekha announced that the newly constructed eight-storey Warangal Super Speciality Hospital building will be inaugurated shortly to serve the public. Regarding the new Warangal District Collectorate complex, she explained that minor administrative delays in clearing contractor bills were being addressed and necessary steps were being taken to ensure its speedy opening.
The MLA further highlighted that funds have already been sanctioned for the development of 99 percent of temples across Warangal East constituency. She urged the Union Government to take initiative in restoring and developing the 11 ancient temples discovered within the historic Warangal Fort area. Former corporators, division presidents, and senior party leaders attended the program.
