Karimnagar, Sept.30 : The official brochure for the prestigious 109th Annual Conference of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) was unveiled at Satavahana University. Satavahana University Vice-Chancellor Prof. U. Umesh Kumar and Registrar Prof. P. Satish Kumar jointly released the document alongside Local Organizing Secretary Prof. B. Suresh Lal from Kakatiya University, Satavahana University Economics Department Head and IEA Telangana Executive Member Dr. Srivani, and Faculty of Social Sciences Dean Prof. Varaprasad.
Speaking on the occasion, Local Organizing Secretary Prof. B. Suresh Lal announced that Kakatiya University will host the three-day national conference from December 27 to 29, 2026. Interested delegates, including faculty, researchers, and students across disciplines, can complete their online registration via the official IEA website by October 25. Research paper submissions on general economic themes must be submitted by October 5, while research papers focusing specifically on “Telangana Economy” have an extended deadline of October 30 for publication in a dedicated journal volume.
The brochure release event saw active participation from faculty members across both institutions, including Dr. A. Sambasiva Rao and Dr. S. Rajesh from Kakatiya University, alongside Dr. D. Satyanarayana, Dr. K. Vidyasagar, Dr. Afsari Usmani, Swarupa Rani, and Shakuntala from Satavahana University and affiliated degree colleges.
