The Sircilla DSP Nagendrachari revealed about mysterious death of a weaver, Vengala Venkatesham to the media persons in a press meet held here in Sircilla
Rajanna Sircilla, August 11 : The mysterious death of a weaver, Vengala Venkatesham, in Sircilla has taken a dramatic turn following police investigations. Sircilla DSP Nagendrachari revealed that Venkatesham was murdered by his employer, Kusuma Ganesh, who attempted to frame Municipal Vice Chairman Darla Sandeep for the crime. Police have arrested Ganesh and are investigating his motives.
Venkatesham had recently lodged a complaint against Sandeep regarding Indiramma housing funds. On August 8, Venkatesham was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Exploiting his prior complaint, certain local leaders staged protests and attempted to place the body outside Sandeep’s house, alleging his involvement.
However, police investigations uncovered that Ganesh committed the murder expecting the blame to fall automatically on the Vice Chairman due to the ongoing political controversy. The DSP noted that police are probing Ganesh’s links with local Congress leaders, including Gajula Laxman, Posu Ramesh, and Pasunuri Surya Prakash. Further investigation is underway to determine if a larger conspiracy was involved.
