Jangoan, Oct.10 : Former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy stated that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s visionary governance transformed Telangana into a prosperous state. Addressing the media during a pit stop at Devaruppula mandal center while traveling to Mahabubabad district, the BRS leaders urged party cadres and the public to participate in grand celebrations marking the tenth anniversary of Jangaon district’s formation by performing palabhishekam (milk ablution) to KCR’s portrait at the District Collectorate.
Recalling the milestones achieved following the district’s creation, the leaders highlighted the establishment of the new Collectorate complex, a government medical college, a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) hospital, and the comprehensive development of historic and spiritual landmarks such as Valmidi, Bammera Pothana birthplace, Palakurti Someshwara Swamy temple, and the Gidikal temple. They also emphasized that channeling Devadula reservoir water into the region turned arid Jangaon lands into fertile agricultural fields.
Launching a sharp attack on the current administration, Errabelli and Palla alleged that the state has suffered immense setbacks under three years of Congress rule, with citizens facing severe hardships due to administrative mismanagement. Expressing confidence in the political resurgence of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, they asserted that BRS will return to power under KCR’s leadership to steer Telangana back on the path of development.
The leaders appealed to party leaders, activists, and supporters from Jangaon, Palakurti, and Station Ghanpur constituencies to turn out in large numbers for the anniversary celebrations organized at the Jangaon district headquarters. Local BRS leaders and representatives joined the press meet.
