Vodithala Pranav Kumar flagged off a new RTC bus service connecting Jammikunta to Gaddapaka at Bonthapally village in Veenavanka mandal of Karimnagar
Karimnagar, July 30 : Huzurabad Congress constituency in-charge Vodithala Pranav emphasized that the Congress government gave top priority to women’s empowerment within 48 hours of assuming power by introducing free bus transport, asserting that key welfare policies are designed centered around women’s progress.
Speaking after flagging off a new TSRTC bus service connecting Jammikunta to Gaddapaka at Bontapalli village in Veenavanka mandal, Pranav highlighted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is moving forward with the goal of turning one crore women into self-reliant entrepreneurs through initiatives like Indira Mahila Shakti. He stated that the government is actively upgrading rural transport infrastructure so that villagers can access seamless connectivity for daily travel.
During the event, Pranav cut the ceremonial ribbon to launch the bus, bought a ticket, and traveled alongside local women commuters to inspect the new route. Interacting with passengers onboard, he inquired about the implementation of welfare schemes, particularly the “Maha Lakshmi” free bus travel initiative. Commuters expressed happiness, sharing that the service has significantly reduced their daily commuting expenses.
Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and District In-charge Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao for approving the transit route, Pranav urged rural residents to make full use of the newly introduced facility. Congress party leaders and cadre from Veenavanka mandal attended the inauguration in large numbers.
