Karimnagar, Oct.7 : Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a sharp attack on the Congress party, accusing it of holding the original patent for “vote and seat theft” in Indian politics. Speaking to the media following a ‘Seva Jyothi’ rally organized by the Karimnagar BJP unit to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service, Bandi Sanjay stated that Congress initiated political theft back in 1946 when it overlooked Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for Prime Minister despite widespread support from Pradesh Congress Committees to install Jawaharlal Nehru instead.
Defending Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Minister stated that PM Modi leads an selfless life dedicated entirely to serving the nation. He emphasized that the Prime Minister has no need for illicit wealth or political dynasties, treating the country’s citizens as his own family. He urged Gen Z and the youth not to fall for propaganda spread by opposition parties, encouraging them to evaluate the growth and development achieved by the nation under PM Modi’s leadership over the past decade.
Dismissing allegations against the Election Commission, Bandi Sanjay clarified that constitutional bodies function independently and are not controlled by the ruling party. He justified ongoing voter list purification drives, pointing out that even Congress leaders had previously acknowledged the existence of millions of bogus voters across various states. He further questioned why opposition parties object when authorities act to remove illegal duplicate entries, including votes registered under deceased individuals and unauthorized foreign infiltrators.
Addressing local political dynamics in Telangana, Bandi Sanjay termed the ongoing land dispute investigations involving BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao as a pre-arranged drama between Congress and BRS. He alleged a covert understanding between the two parties, claiming Congress lacks the courage to act against BRS corruption, while BRS fails to question Congress over its unimplemented election promises. He added that he remains a loyal worker prepared to accept any responsibility assigned by the BJP leadership.
