Mahabubabad, Oct.4 : A woman native to Maripeda mandal in Mahabubabad district, identified as Daram Supriya (also known as Supraja), was killed in a tragic road accident in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. According to available information, Supriya, who was running a restaurant in Saint Louis, was returning home in a car with her friend after closing the establishment at night when a speeding truck rammed into their vehicle.
Supriya died on the spot due to severe impact injuries, while her friend sustained critical injuries in the collision and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for emergency treatment. Supriya is survived by her husband, Kodumuri Ranjit, and their young son, both of whom reside in the US.
News of her sudden demise cast a pall of gloom over her native region in Mahabubabad district. Her parents-in-law, Kodumuri Venkateshwarlu and Radhika, currently reside at Veerabhadra Apartments in Mahabubabad town. Relatives and local community leaders expressed deep grief over the tragedy and requested authorities to assist the family during this difficult time.
