Jangaon, Sept. 9 : District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha made a surprise inspection of the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) at Kolukonda village in Devaruppula mandal on Wednesday. During his visit, the Collector directed teachers to focus on delivering quality education and encouraged students to participate actively in sports and extracurricular activities.
The Collector inspected classroom instruction, computer lab internet connectivity, library facilities, stock rooms, clean drinking water arrangements, and sanitation infrastructure, including toilets and the school kitchen. Interacting directly with the students in their classrooms, he inquired about the regular conduct of classes and checked whether nutritious food was being served according to the government-mandated mid-day meal menu.
Emphasizing environmental health, Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha instructed the local Gram Panchayat Secretary to ensure the school campus remains free of garbage and litter. He further instructed officials to revamp the school library by stocking general knowledge books and urged teachers to maintain absolute hygiene in the kitchen while preparing daily meals.
Reiterating that the state government accords top priority to the education sector, he called upon educators to nurture students toward academic excellence. District Agricultural Officer Ambika Soni, MPDO P. Menaka, Headmaster Venkanna, Panchayat Secretary Tirupati Reddy, and local teaching staff accompanied the Collector during the inspection.
