Khammam, July 27 : Emphasizing that human resources are true wealth of the state, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched a state-of-the-art Centralized Community Kitchen in Madhira of Khammam district on Monday.
The facility, established in partnership with the Hare Krishna Charitable Foundation, aims to provide nutritious breakfast daily to thousands of government school students under hygienic conditions.
Following the inauguration, the Deputy Chief Minister joined schoolchildren for breakfast and shared the meal with them, describing the experience as an unforgettable moment in his political journey. Addressing the gathering, Vikramarka reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring that no child attends school hungry.
Reflecting on the government’s vision, Vikramarka stated that the statewide nutritious breakfast scheme should not be viewed as a freebie, but rather as a strategic investment in future generations. He highlighted that the state’s future depends on the well-being of its students, and the government aims to hone every child’s potential so they can compete globally.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that true governance is not about exercising authority, but about using public resources to bring qualitative changes to society. He added that the welfare programs implemented by the Indiramma government today were shaped by the real-world issues which he directly observed during his public outreach walkathon, the ‘People’s March’.
