Warangal, Oct.22 : The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) high command has initiated strict, comprehensive disciplinary measures to curb internal dissent, factionalism, and coordination gaps among party leaders across Telangana. Following a stern review meeting convened by BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao with leaders from the erstwhile Warangal district regarding preparations for the upcoming Graduates’ MLC elections, the leadership has decided to replicate this strict disciplinary approach statewide.
During the recent Warangal review session, KTR expressed strong displeasure over laxity in voter registration and openly reprimanded local leaders for indulging in group politics. Citing past assembly election defeats as a direct consequence of internal sabotage and lack of coordination among party members, he cautioned that factionalism will no longer be tolerated under any circumstances. Party sources indicate that future ticket allocations and key leadership roles will strictly depend on collective teamwork rather than individual factional strength.
With the upcoming Graduates’ MLC elections viewed as a crucial semi-final contest before the general elections, the BRS leadership plans to hold dedicated review meetings with leaders from all remaining erstwhile districts across Telangana. By cracking down on internal rivalry well in advance, the party aims to instill strict discipline, eliminate internal sabotage, and unify the grassroots cadre to strengthen its organizational base across the state.
