Hanumakonda, Oct.23 : Hasanparthy Inspector of Police A. Mahendar issued a strict advisory warning shopkeepers, traders, and the general public against storing or selling firecrackers and explosives without valid government permissions ahead of the upcoming Diwali festival. Speaking through an official press statement, the Inspector emphasized that stringent legal action will be initiated against anyone found illegally stockpiling or commercializing fireworks within the jurisdiction of the Hasanparthy Police Station, asserting that public safety remains the top priority of the law enforcement department during the festive season.
Inspector Mahendar clarified that all vendors intending to sell fireworks must mandatorily secure advance licenses and formal clearances from competent departmental authorities in accordance with prescribed safety guidelines. Storing explosive materials in residential areas, congested localities, or unauthorized premises is strictly prohibited under law. To prevent hazardous incidents, police teams will maintain continuous vigilance across commercial zones and neighborhood markets, conducting surprise inspections to identify illegal storage facilities and unregistered temporary stalls.
The police warned that any unauthorized stock of firecrackers identified during inspections will be immediately confiscated, and criminal cases will be registered against defaulting vendors under relevant legal provisions. Inspector Mahendar appealed to both citizens and business owners to extend full cooperation to the police administration, adhere strictly to fire safety norms, and help maintain a secure environment for peaceful and accident-free Diwali celebrations across the region.
