Karimnagar Hindi teacher Shareef Ahmed selected for Best State Teacher Award 2026
Karimnagar, Sept.5 : Shareef Ahmed, a Hindi teacher at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) Mallapur in Thimmapur Mandal of Karimnagar district, has been selected for the prestigious Best State Teacher Award 2026. The honor recognizes his pioneering contributions to digital education and innovative teaching methodologies in public schooling.
Among his notable achievements is the deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the classroom. Shareef Ahmed created personalized AI digital avatars to produce interactive Hindi lesson videos. By combining animated avatars, voice synchronization, and visual aids, he has simplified complex language concepts and made classroom learning more engaging for government school students.
In addition to classroom instruction, Ahmed has actively contributed to state-level educational developments since 2008. He has served as a Mandal, District, and State Resource Person for Hindi, contributing to textbook development, curriculum modules, and state initiatives such as the Class X Lakshya program and LEP Unnati. As a technical in-charge for the DIKSHA Portal, he has designed and uploaded numerous digital learning resources and Open Educational Resources (OER) for Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs).
Ahmed’s creative contributions extend to community outreach, including his viral ‘Badi Bata’ awareness video promoting government school admissions. He regularly leads experiential learning programs, guiding students to state- and national-level integration camps to foster holistic development. His award selection highlights the growing impact of technology-driven teaching practices in rural education.
