Jagtial, Oct.20 : In a major political development in Jagtial district, over 50 youths from Pashigama village in Velgatoor mandal joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The party change came as a protest against the Congress government’s failure to fulfill its electoral promises made to the people of the Dharmapuri constituency.
The official induction took place in the presence of former Minister and former Dharmapuri MLA Koppula Eshwar. Prominent youth leaders including Kantem Pawan, Kantem Naveen, Embadi Sreedhar, Garvandula Ashish, Embadi Vamshi, Kantem Gourayya, and Allam Ramesh, along with dozens of local supporters, formally embraced the BRS.
Welcoming the new entrants by offering them party scarves, Koppula Eshwar urged the cadre to actively expose the state government’s governance failures at the grassroots level. Senior local leaders, party activists, and supporters turned out in large numbers to attend the event.
