Jagtial, Sept.6 : Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that the state government is fulfilling the decades-long dream of reconstructing the ancient Dharmapuri Ugra Narasimha Swamy temple. He revealed that alongside the previously sanctioned ₹117 crore, an additional ₹80 crore has been allocated following a request by local Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, bringing the total development budget for the shrine to nearly ₹200 crore.
Speaking at a late-night gathering of party cadres in Dharmapuri, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the public government is committed to utilizing public money directly for welfare and infrastructure. He highlighted key development initiatives in the Dharmapuri constituency, including the setup of a ‘Young India Integrated Residential School’ at a cost of ₹200 crore, ₹6 crore for electricity pole shifting, and new ITIs, degree colleges, and Advanced Technology Centers to boost education and healthcare.
Bhatti Vikramarka also outlined state welfare initiatives, such as free bus travel for women, Indiramma housing worth ₹5 lakh, Rajiv Aarogyasri health coverage up to ₹10 lakh, and free power up to 200 units. He announced that the student breakfast scheme will soon launch in the constituency alongside the ‘Indiramma Bheema Yojana.’
Criticizing opposition BRS leaders for leaving the state in debt, the Deputy Chief Minister urged cadres to counter baseless claims and take the government’s development model to every household.
