PEDDAPALLI, OCT.27 : Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged on Tuesday that disruptive forces backed by foreign funding are conspiring to storm Parliament and the Prime Minister’s residence, drawing parallels to recent political unrest in Bangladesh. Speaking to media personnel in Peddapalli after consoling the family of deceased RSS worker’s mother Kummarikunta Rajeshwari, the Minister called upon citizens to unite and defeat anti-national elements.
Bandi Sanjay defended the Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process aimed at eliminating duplicate entries, deceased individuals, and illegal voters from electoral rolls. He questioned why opposition parties like Congress and BRS object to removing illegal Rohingya voters from voter lists, particularly in constituencies like Maheshwaram in Hyderabad, where illegal migrants reportedly consume welfare benefits meant for deserving poor citizens. He clarified that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) executing the voter roll cleanup work under state government control, distancing the BJP from procedural oversight.
The Minister announced upcoming massive ‘Save Democracy’ rallies to counter foreign-funded conspiracies, requesting students, youth, and the general public to turn out in large numbers. He disclosed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address the grand rally in Hyderabad on November 2, followed by another major demonstration in Karimnagar on November 5. Urging nationalist forces to deliver a strong message to anarchists, he reiterated the Union government’s resolve to safeguard democratic institutions and national integrity from external threats.
